Department of Swedish

At the Department of Swedish you can study Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, and Swedish as a Foreign Language. You can also choose to focus on a specific area, such as writing or rhetoric. If you would like to know more about the languages of our neighbouring countries, we also offer Nordic Studies, Icelandic, and Danish.

In several cases you can choose between regular daytime courses and part-time evening courses. We also give a number of web-based courses. Beside the courses listed in the course catalogue we give a variety of professional development courses on a contractual basis.
